 | 3/8" Bevel Complete Profile and Polishing Kit This kit includes a 3/8” bevel vacuum brazed diamond profile wheel along with our variable speed 0-8000 rpm high speed wet polisher as well as a set of 4“ diamond polishing pads. This grinder is equipped with a 800 watt 5 amp motor and feature a variable speed wheel switch. The RPM range of this unit is 0 - 8000. Most wet polishers and grinders have a max RPM of 1500 - 4000, although this is great for polishing , these speeds are not helpful in grinding, cutting and profiling applications. This unit has a quick connect, brass coupling for a 1/2” lego connector for use with water hoses, a 5/8-11 UNC spindle thread, GFCI operator protector circuit breaker (integrated in cord ) and a 360° adjustable aluminum safety guard with integrated rubber splash skirt. Also included with this unit is a bail handle (D handle), wrench, extra carbon brushes and a water line. After the shape is roughed in with the diamond profile wheel you will need to polish the edge to restore the original shine. Simple screw on the included 4” backer to the wet polisher and progressively polish the edge with each diamond pad starting with the 50 grit and ending with the 3500. At high speed, this is the ideal tool for fast stock removal using diamond grinding wheels, zero tolerance wheels, diamond edge profile wheels, finger bits and diamond hole saws. Starting at $239.00 per item ... details |  | 3/8" Bevel Diamond Profile Wheel For Hand Grinders This tool is made with vacuum brazed diamond technology and will give the user multiple hundreds of linear feet of life. Unlike electroplating the vacuum brazed process encases the entire diamond in bonding material. This creates support throughout the diamond and prevent the diamonds from fracturing and prematurely failing. This process will also allow the user to run the tool at a much higher rpm than an electroplated tool and can even be used without water. A 3/8" bevel is commonly used to make a full radius on edges of tile, and a subtle roundover on large granite slabs and on the inside edge of an under mount sink hole. This Wheel will thread directly onto a grinder with a 5/8-11 threaded arbor. To use this tool, simply thread it onto the grinder position the top black ring flat on the top surface of the material. With the tool powered on, apply force inward until the bit stops (fool proof bearing stop) and pull the tool along the edge. The top black disc will keep the tool at a constant vertical position while the bottom ride bearing keep the tool at a constant depth into the material. This system is fool proof and a favorite of many do it yourself individuals. The process is very quick, on a 3/4" bevel, it will take less than a minute a piece on a 12" X 12" tile. This tool is a 30 - 40 grit stock removal tool, if you need to Polish the edge to a shine you will need a wet polisher and a set of diamond pads to complete the process.
